Steps of Choosing the Right Course to Study in Qatar

Qatar offers several study programmes at the undergraduate and post graduate levels. To choose one course of study is a daunting task. However, here are steps you can follow before you take study abroad decision.

Determine your interest area. Know your career aspirations. Get the answers to the questions, such as what you want to do? Why and what after the course? Once you get the answer to these questions, start research! 

Research about the programme you want to undertake and the universities in Qatar offering that programme. Visit the official website to know in detail about the course- entry requirements, support services, course structure, language of instruction, and other necessary details. Shortlist the universities that meet your needs. Contact them to know more about the university and the offerings.

After thorough research, start applying to the University of your Choice. 

Students must have completed secondary education and hold a secondary education completion certificate (general, technical, commercial or religious), or an equivalent qualification.

If you’re selected, a confirmation letter will be issued. 

Pupils who receive the university confirmation letter can apply for scholarships. The Higher Education Institute of Supreme Education Council of Qatar offers scholarships programmes for students to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the higher education institutions in Qatar and worldwide.
